I think we have narrowed it down! We've been ttc since the beginning of the year and thinking of names the whole time. We both are hoping for a boy because we love the name we decided on: Wesley Werner. Werner is my dad's name, and I love the meaning which is protecting army/guard, and my husband and I are both in the military.
For a girl I still have my heart set on Ellison. I love the nn Elle and Ellie, and that the full name isn't very girly or common. Middle name either Inge (pronounced ing-a, not een GUH), which has a significant meaning for me, or Astrid.
Also! TWO babies born today. Albert Darrell and Paisley Alora.
What do you guys think?

Date: 2012-05-11 07:14 pm (UTC)I hope you are able to conceive soon...we're trying also but are only in our second month so far. We too have our names pretty settled, although I'm going to make a decision between names after I see the baby. I keep going back and forth between my top two favorites in both genders. But like you, I'm so relieved to have it narrowed down!
Ick at Paisley. Next it will be Gingham, Tweed, and Houndstooth. On the same note, I also hate Satine/Satin/Silk. It's not just prints I dislike but fabric. They just aren't baby names.
