My name is Jenifer (with one N, even) and I don't like it.

As a kid, did you ever read "Nothing's Fair in Fifth Grade"? The narrator's name is "Jenifer" with one N...although people call her "Jenny" (though I suppose she could've been "Jeni"?) At any rate, it was the one and only time in my childhood - or since, really - that I ever encountered a "Jenifer" and for some reason it's always stuck in my head :-/
