That's what I originally had, couldn't decide if I like Verity with Shirin or Juliet more.

I like it with Juliet because, to me at least, both names are feminine but still strong sounding.

I adore Verity and Lenore and Iolanthe totally fits into my list. I'd throw out Ianthe (yanthee or Ee-awnthee) as a suggestion, too.

I love Ianthe, and prefer the pronunciation yanthee. Is it Welsh?

I've never heard it before. I recently found out one of my great-aunts was named Iola, and when I looked it up found Ionlanthe. I think it's very unusual, perhaps too much so for a first name, but really pretty.

I like Verity Lenore, but am set on Lenore as a first name so I can call her Lena.
