Potential sibling names that go well with Lennox Steele (nn Lex)? I like non-trendy names as a rule. How trendy do you think Paxton is, is it too gimicky as a sibling name? Do you think having Pax and Lex is too similar sounding?

I've always seen Paxton as a trendy name. And Pax and Lex are a bit too similar for my taste.
I'd try finding something without an x in it because I have this impression that most names with x's and z's are super trendy these days.

I don't think Paxton and Lennox are too close, but Pax and Lex are. So I would vote no based on that. I mean are you trying to do a theme with the X's? If you are Xavier might be a better option because it doesn't have the same sound.

I think Paxton is fairly trendy. Pax and Lex are pretty similar-sounding, too.

And may I just add, I loooove Lennox.

I love names with x's. Both Lennox and Pax (which I prefer as a stand alone name as oppose to Paxton) are great names. I don't think they're too similar sounding, they just have something in common which isn't a bad thing in my opinion.

Paxton is a bit trendy. Have you considered other surnames as first names?

I think Paxton is trendy and I'm not a big fan... I also agree that Pax and Lex are too similar. I instantly thought of Desmond, Donovan and Ronan as possible choices if you wanted an Irish sounding name. Dez is a great nickname for Desmond and I think it sounds good with Lex.

As others have said, I feel Paxton is pretty trendy.
I am trying to come up with suggestions for names that will go with Lennox Steele (and I'm trying to mostly stay in the Irish names realm since you said you like Irish names in an above comment) but it is clear that your style is very different than mine so don't hesitate to say "I hate all of these names!" (lol) Also, you didn't specify "only boys' names" so I will throw in some girls' names at the end. :)

Angus
Gallagher
Hudson
Keane
Peter
Quinn (I really love the sound of Lennox & Quinn together)
Seamus

Ainsley/Ansley
Bridget
Lydia
Molly

Lennox Steele is quite pretty. I also have Steele on my list, I nabbed it from Cassie Steele but hoped no one would make the connection.

Paxton is rather trendy. Not necessarily too popular, but I think it will belong to a time frame. Also when I hear Pax, I think tampax. Or paxil.
