Middle Name Help (AGAIN!)

So, I'm due in 3 weeks and we still don't have a name picked out. My husband is set on Mila for the first name, which is fine with me, but we don't have a middle name. Last name is Fernandes.

I really want to honour my mom (Karen Ann) and maybe his mom too (Rosa/Rosie) if I can find a good name that honours them both.. but definitely my mom first and foremost lol

So far I have come up with:

Anarosa
Rosana
Roseanne
Kate
Carys/Karys
Kay/Kaye

Which is your favourite as a middle name for Mila? Or suggest a different name all together! My husband "doesn't care" about the middle name, as long as he gets Mila, so it's pretty much pointless to ask for his opinion lol HELP!

Mila Kate is lovely! Definitely my favourite, short strong names that compliment each other.
But if honouring mother's names is most important then Mila Rosana also has a nice flow. I would avoid Mila Anarosa though, because of the A's next to each other makes it a bit more difficult to say. Mila Carys is also a lovely strong name with a good flow.

Mila Kay is pretty cute. Most of the other choices would make the entire name pretty long.

As far as other middle name suggestions, maybe Carine/Karine, Rosalyn, Rosamand, or Rosaline.

I do like tying in both grandmother's names into the middle. I like Anarosa the best, even if it's not the best choice for flow. It's still gorgeous!

I have to admit though that I still love the idea of Mila Claire even though I know it's not an option for you, it still always comes to mind every time I see your userpic =D

I have a middle name picked out for my baby if it's a girl, Cherie, which is a mash-up of my mums middle name (Cheryl) and my MIL's name (Marie). :)

Mila Caroline. Or, Karoline if you want to match the K in Karen. Caroline has the first syllable of both Karen and Rosa.

I'm curious as to why your mother would have an aneurysm? My husband's family is VERY religious and I am a new Catholic, so maybe I'm just not seeing the connection, but I wouldn't want to offend anyone.

It's not bad or anything. Upon Googling though I have found that the connection isn't so strong.. or apparent specifically at all.. I just remember Rosana being a form of praise I think in a hymn sung at school a lot when I was young..

I am (obviously) not personally religious anymore, is all..

Oh ok, I thought it was something horrible that I hadn't heard about lol I think you may be thinking about "Hosanna" (Hosanna In The Highest) not Rosana? Either way, as long as it's not something bad then it doesn't really matter!

Mila Rossella (Rossella is sanksrit and means "light", "brightness", so it's closer to Karen, which means "pure")
