Hypothetical sibset. WDYT?

Lacey Denise Cooke
Madeleine Sophie Cooke (Maddie) OR
Elsa Harriet Cooke

Any thoughts of a longer version of Lacey? Is Lacey too similar to Leo and/or Daisy? Thoughts on the sibset as a whole? And the combo's? Elsa or Maddie? The family has a close friend/family member called Ellie - is Ellie and Elsa too much for one close family?

ETA the father is Jason. Is Lacey too matchy? Or does it still kind of work?

Edit to change around the combo's. I think the names make more sense this way.

I don't like the flow of the boys' names very much. I keep hearing a pause in the middle for some reason or am putting emphasis in a strange place or something, and it makes it sound like two names: Leo Henry and John Cooke or Nathan Peter and James Cooke. I guess it's better if I consiously make myself say it like the middles are a hyphenated name. Then, I get the right sound. I'm not suggesting you hyphenate though! I do like Leo John Cooke and Nathan Peter Cooke or Nathan James Cooke better though. I also think it is a little weird to give the boys two middles and the girls only one.

I think Daisy and Lacey are a bit matchy, and while I think Madeleine goes best with your other names, I don't like how Daisy, Lacey, and Maddie would all end in the -ee sound. I'm not sure how you're pronouncing Madeleine. I'm guessing mah-duh-lyn? I see that spelling and mentally say mah-duh-layn every single time. Googling seems to tell me that this is correct when refering to small cakes but not the name. Ellie and Elsa are quite close though...

As far as longer versions of Lacey, I can't think of anything, BUT you could do a name with La-- at the beginning and a middle that starts with a C. For example, Laura Claire Cooke or Laura Claire Denise Cooke. La+C=Lacey. You could also use Helena (with the hel-LAY-nuh pronunciation) and a C name. So Helena Catherine Denise Cooke. HelLAYnuh+C --> Lay+C --> Lacey.

On the sibset as a whole, I think Leo, Nathan, and Madeleine work together. I think Leo and Elsa work or maybe Leo and Daisy. Lacey and Madeleine could maybe go together. Something just isn't fitting with them all together for me.

I don't think Jason and Lacey are too similar.

Yeah, the more I look at the boys names, the more problems I see with the flow. I'm thinking I probably will just leave it with Leo Henry and Nathan Peter.
