Two names I saw today, brother & sister:

Neo-Blade
Tygah-Princess

Mum said she didn't want to spell it 'Tiger' because she wanted the name to be special and unique.

Neo-Blade makes me think the parents might be film fans? Neo from The Matrix and Blade from the movies/comics. At least that was the first thing that popped into my head. Would not even think of calling my child this. It's just awkward and strange to say.

I think Princess is a silly name and the T-Y-G-A-H spelling is ridiculous. I actually rather like the name Tiger on it's own and properly spelled. I knew a little girl called Tiger Lily who went by Lily when she was a newborn but had switched to Tiger by the time she was a toddler. Even though I thought it was really awkward at first, it really grew on me. Then there's the actor that plays the older brother on Outnumbered, Tyger Drew-Honey. Even that spelling I like better than the "gah".

Do the children go by short forms?

I've mentioned this one numerous times, but I worked with a little girl called Precious-Princess Diamond. Her mother was Cinderella.

Those are the worst names I've heard in quite a while. Drugs or alcohol must have been involved.

This just seems like the parents were trying too hard to make sure their kids had sooper-speshul names. I'm all for fictional namesakes, but Neo-Blade is a bit too obvious. And the references date back to 1999. Tygah-Princess...I think I get what she was going for, but no.
