Library Names

I work at a library so I see a lot of names throughout the day. Here's some of the stranger ones I came across today:

Wenceslas

Braxton
Dayna
Aimee
Marco
Kailee
Bethlyn

After seeing Wenceslas, I had Good King Wenceslas stuck in my head for a quite a while!

I actually like Braxton. It would make a solid name. Probably wouldn't give it to my child as a first name but I definitely enjoy it.
I love love love the name Aimee.
Marco makes me think of the show Degrassi. Not sure if this is a bad thing or not xD

Aimee is not strange, haha! That is my name, and I know three gals named Aimee, not including myself. Funnily enough...all of us are Aimee Michelle, as is the one Amy I know. And I wouldn't consider Marco or Kailee "strange" but the other ones are definitely "strange" to me.

I didn't mean strange so much as uncommon, at least in my area, and stranger than some of the more commonplace names I see a lot of like James, Jessica, Cathy, Meghan, etc.

I had a classmate throughout middle school and high school named Aimee, so it's not bizarre to me. It's just a Frenchified spelling of Amy. I like Augustino and Marco (though I probably couldn't use them). Wenceslas. Huh. His parents must really like that song.

There's actually a couple Braxton's at my sons elementary school. There's also a Pahlavan, Trevyn, Camden and Ja'Nieca.

I know a Dayna. We went to school together. And there's a Braxton that plays on the senior boys basketball team in town.

And Aimee and Kailee aren't super uncommon. I did laugh a little at Wenceslas though, mainly because it makes me think of the Christmas song. :P
