Mar. 5th, 2012 07:19 pmI've recently fallen in love with the name Blaine (for a boy, just to be clear). According to behind the name, its origins lie in Scotland and it means "yellow."
I'd never heard of it before watching the show Glee, but the second that I heard it, something just said "I love this name!" in my head.
How do you feel about it? Do you think it would age well from boyhood to adulthood?

Date: 2012-03-06 04:37 am (UTC)Otherwise, personally I don't really like the sound of the name. It sounds to close to "plain" to me, and also "bleh." I don't know, that's probably not a good reason to dislike a name, but there it is. I don't hate it, but I don't like it either.
