My name is so boring and common (Sara) that I wish I had something with more sparkle to it: Charlotte, Veronica/Vera, Bridget... I would even take a family name like Florence or Marguerite.

When I was younger, all my dolls were named Mary or John. As I got a bit older, I went up a notch to Laura (probably because I knew so many), then Cynthia Adrienne.

From the list, I kind of like Molly, but it always feel like a nickname, and Sophie; I like Darya too for a girl. For boys I like Viktor, and Arden but it makes me think of My Sweet Audrina (VC Andrews book).

I said I'd like to be Isabel. I really like this spelling because it's pretty, but Isabelle and/or Isabella look a little too girly to me. When I was little, I wanted to be Meghan because that was my favorite cousin's name.

I like:

Sorry, but I really don't like that spelling. The "o" looks like a typo to me.

I have to say I'm surprised by most answers, they seem very standard and not what I'd expect.

I love my name (Jessica) so I don't really wish I had a different one.
If I *had* to pick a new one, though, I'd want to be Eva Luna.

I love Dulcea, pronounced Doll-Chay-uh. I would easily take that name. Remy too. Remy is the only name I gave to a child that I would've happily taken on myself. Gigi is the only nickname I have that has nothing to do with my actual name. I like it a lot but not as much as Dulcea or Remy.

My given name is Laurel although I've been using the nickname Lola since high school. As a child I got Lauren or Laura and a million different versions of misspellings "Lorelle/Lurelle/Loral". I like my name but I wish that people could figure out what it is. I wouldn't change my name but I would change how people see my name.

I used to say I was gonna change my name to Melissa/Mindy when I was younger but I knew nobody that had my name (Melinda). That was until a family that I used to babysit for had their second child, a girl, that they named Melinda because they loved my name so much. I figure I was gonna be Winifred so I've made peace with it.

I'm a big fan of Lila and Arwyn which are both family names, as well.

When I was little, I thought Kimberly was the most awesome name in the world, and wanted it for my own. I think that might have been colored by the Power Rangers. ;)

I mostly like my name now, I guess. I could also see myself as a Rachel though.

Me too! I also liked the name Tiffany as a kid. I would never ever use either of those names now.

My name (Suzy) is pretty common and I'm not fond of it at all. The only time I like it is when someone calls me Suzy Q. I'd never actually change my name though but I've decided to legally add Quinn as my middle name since I never had one.

The funny thing about my name is that in the military, "Suzy" is the generic name/term for "girlfriend". Don't know why. But my boyfriend is a marine and I am the first real Suzy he's known so his "Suzy" is actually a Suzy.

I've always been happy with my name, minus how common it is. I must know about a zillion Samanthas.

When I was younger I used to wish my name was Martina.

I'm pretty content with my name (Alyssa) because I don't meet too many my age in Minnesota. If I had to choose a new name I'd probably go with Ada or something I have loved for years.
