While I'm not pregnant.....YET.....fiance and I have been thinking about names we're going to name our children.

We have the boys name picked out already...there was no problem with that.

Our little girl will be Charlotte (we'll call her Charlie)......our problem is we're having a hard time finding a decent middle name. We considered Leigh, but it just doesn't "flow" well with Charlotte.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

I don't really care for the double L sound Charlotte Leigh creates.

Charlotte Jane
Charlotte Marie
Charlotte Anne
Charlotte Nicole

I like traditional names, not so big into trendy.

My daughter will be Charlotte Marie after my grandmother and my husbands. I love how it sounds.

do you want a longer middle name or short?

A middle name is a great place to honor an important family member. It would have more meaning than, "Well, it sounded good."

Please don't use Grace, Kate, Rose... These are the new filler names, sadly.

Lottie is another, more feminine, nickname for Charlotte.

I agree with the family honouring; I'll definitely pick special relatives' names for the middle names of future children.

I'm pregnant with a girl and still don't have a girl's name picked. It's hard!

I had a friend name Charleigh, I don't remember her middle name but it's a good way if you wanted to use the Char and Leigh.

I agree with you about Charlotte Leigh, especially because you want to call her Charlie. Charlie Leigh does not go.
I like Charlotte Anne

One of my stepdaughters is Charlotte Jessica - she went by Charlie or Cha until she got to be a teenager, then went through trying to get everyone to call her Lottie (it didn't work) until she moved onto to something "cooler" - Charz (which, since we live in London, is pronounced like Shahhz. *groan*)

Charlotte is really popular over here - I know of lots of Charlotte Annes and Charlotte Janes, one Charlotte Emily and one Charlotte Elise.
