[identity profile] estrella-jenita.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames

hey every1, I work in a grocery store and today I saw a cake that said 'God bless Ava'  which i like, but I misread it and thought said 'Ara'( i'm pronouncing that 'Air-uh') and then i saw it later again, in the credits of a movie and i really like it i think that it's one of those names that could work well for any personality type of girl....

and just now i thought it'd be cute too if it was pronounced "ahr-uh"

what do you think?

I like "earthy" sounding names, so a name that sounds like air-uh is appealing to me. :) I like Ava, too, but pronounced ay-vah. (There was recently a girl on My Super Sweet Sixteen named Ava, but I didn't like how they pronounced it.)

I think it's pretty (pronounced either way). I'd found it in one of my books & it is on our list, except spelled 'Aara'.
