hey all, i thought i'd post my family's names, most not really my style. my family is american, and my husband's is english, just for reference:

younger nephew: frances IV, but they call him tristan (they wanted to carry on francis, and they really liked tristan, from legends of the fall- but why not just make that his middle name? i don't know)

mother in law: felicia kathleen (pronounced fuh-lih-see-uh, nn fliss)

Oooh! Hazel Audrey is pretty, and I think it's just as pretty switched around to Audrey Hazel! I love a versatile name. <3 I wouldn't have come up with that!

I love Christy Elizabeth! I think Christy is just so pretty and sophisticated.

I also like the nn Fliss a whole lot. I think I would like Felicity better than Felicia. I feel like American Girl dolls made it bitchy though.

I was wondering whether the Alba in The Time Traveler's Wife would catch on! I figured it might be used as a nn for Albany, too.

I've decided more to focus on Elodie as either a first or middle name since you put emphasis there that you just LOVE it. Knowing if I were in your place I would just be dying to work it in. So here is my list of Elodie combinations.

I thought about Elodie Audrey or Audrey Elodie but both combos sounded so weird together. :( And I love almost all the boy picks you had. So much fun trying to pair them off!

thanks for your help! i love both elodie and alba, but i'm just not sure if they're good together, being so vowel-heavy. last name is milford, so the fact that it's consonant heavy helps there :) i do like elodie hazel!

funny, helena (as helen-uh) is a 'maybe' on my list, but i didn't include it here and you put it in anyway. similar tastes indeed!
