What do you think of names (boys or girls, but I haven't come across a boys name like this) with apostrophes in them?

There is only one I can remember off the top of my head that had me thinking about it; Jai'me. Spelt Jaime, pronounced Ja-may. I'm not quite sure whether I like it or not, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it as much if it was spelt just Jamay.(Summer Heights High is where I got it from)

Anyway, I'm curious to know, what are your thoughts?

I had a friend in college named J'nea. She loathed her name and told me that apostrophes in names were very ghetto.

Apostrophes don't belong in names in my opinion. It makes the whole name look ridiculous and trashy.

No. I dislike punctuation in names. You can have a hyphen, but anything else is daft IMO

I can't think of a single name with an apostrophe in it that I like. And it's actually hard for some people to have apostrophes in their last names, so I don't think it'd be any easier to have an apostrophe in their first. It's just ugly.

Hyphens and accents should the only thing in names, and even hyphens are pushing it.

My cousin's son's middle name is Cam'ron. The father chose to spell it like that while my cousin was being worked on. She's having another baby in May so she's going to submit papers to change it to Cameron.

I saw a name on TV today: D'Matthew. Really, is that necessary? Matthew wasn't good enough?

Saw a mother on Toddlers & Tiaras the other day named Harmonee'. Don't know why there was a random apostrophe there.. even an accent over the 'e' would have made more sense.
