New Cousin
Feb. 4th, 2012 06:55 pmMy distant cousin gave birth to her third child today:
Klaire Louise
Little sister to Teigun (m, "tee-gun") and Kaylx (f, "kay-lix").
I'm not a fan of the odd spelling choices, but I do like the names. Calix used to be one of my favorites for a boy.
ETA: Calix is a legit name I swear! Kaylx is just a (super weird) spelling of it. Calix (pronounced kay-lix) is Greek and means "very handsome."

Date: 2012-02-05 04:42 am (UTC)I've heard of Teagan, but never heard of Calix. Where the heck is that from?? Why do people think creative spelling is so wonderful?!
That K for Klaire is really going to annoy me. :(

Date: 2012-02-05 05:03 am (UTC)Calix is a Greek name that means "very handsome." I think it's kind of odd to use for a girl like my cousin did. The feminine version is Calista, which I think is very pretty (and it means "most beautiful").

Date: 2012-02-05 11:33 am (UTC)I definitely prefer Calix over the K and the Y.
