Another option that might work for me. WDYT?

I've still been having the internal debate on Elsa Fleur vs Fleur. I don't want to just call her by a middle name. After getting lots of input from your experiences, it's clear that it would be a huge hassle at best later in life. Not something I am willing to do knowingly. Nor do I just want to use straight Fleur. I still love Elsa after all!! So I thought what if I just always call her both: Elsa Fleur, like Mary Kate. That way I'd get to use both of her beautiful names! Although I would probably put them both under her first name with no technical middle name. That way they officially would have to call her the same thing I do.

That being said, I still want twin girls. One would be Gemma Hermione and the other Elsa Fleur. It would be my ideal situation. <3

WDYT?  About using both like a longer first name, not about twins. ;-)

In my opinion, double barreled first names are a bit of a waste of time. We have a girl in our class at Kindergarten called Sienna-Rose and no-one calls her that. She's Sienna. I knew a girl at school called Kelly-Anne and everyone just called her Kelly.

What about Fleur Elsa, with Elsa as the middle name?

Wait, why can't you name her Elsa Fleur and call her Elsa?

Also, there's no way you can make anyone call her by Elsa Fleur, unfortunately. People even shorten single first names (my sister Elizabeth is a prime example; only family call her Elizabeth and everyone else just shortens in).

As someone with a double first name, I can tell you that in my experience, no matter how hard you try, the world is going to end up giving her one first name. I fought for years to be called Amber-Lynn but eventually just gave up and accepted Amber.

Elsa Fleur is a really pretty combination, and it would make a cool, unique double name. Go for it.
