So I'm kind of in love with Nordic names. I found some that I really like, although I'm not sure if I'd use them on a child; I just think they sound/look extremely cool.

You know, it's always bothered me that Eric on TrueBlood/The Southern Vampire Mysteries doesn't spell his name Erik. Supposedly he's this ages old Viking, but Charlaine Harris doesn't use the k.

THS. I don't even watch the show, couldn't get into it. Then I learn Eric was actually from that part of the world like the sexy hunk of man that is Alexander Skarsgard and she didn't use a K. Eric just makes me think of Price Eric XD

I've got a penchant for liking Scandinavian type names. I really like Kvendulf and Asta especially from your list. Astrid is on my list for kids and I really like the god's names like Odin and Loki, though I think I'd be less inclined to use those. I discovered Dagur, but it kinda reminds me of the Draugr from Skyrim XD

I love Astrid and I quite like Loki - I love Thor but there is no way I would ever use it. Dagur is quite cool (and never seen Skyrim so I don't get that association. Would it be pronounced "dag-ur" (bit like dagger) or "day-gur"? Or "dar-gur"? Hmmm.
