Cashier

My cashier today at the grocery store was Schnya.

What do you think?

When I first saw it I loved how it looked (but I also love names like Myrna for the same reason) but then saying it out loud I didn't as much.

Is it pronounced like Shania (as in Twain)? I can't figure out how else to say it.

It reminds me of Schnoz. It sounds ridiculous.

I said it like Shy-nah. Like China except with a -Sh sounds. Not pretty in any case.

I can't even figure out how you'd pronounce that. Not a fan.

SCH is usually pronounced SK, like school. It looks like it should be pronounced Skunya. If it's supposed to be Shania, her parents were more than creative with the spelling.

I'm not sure how it's pronounced... I don't like it.
