Lucas and Demetri

Okay, so WDYT of the names Lucas and Demetri? I'm seriously considering Lucas as a potential name, and Demetri I just read somewhere today and really like it. I doubt it would get any farther than a middle name if I used it. Also, any MN suggestions for Lucas, or FN suggestions with Demetri?

Like someone else already posted, Lucas reminds me of "Days of Our Lives"... yes, it's a riduculous show but I've been watching it since I was in the womb (not to mention my mother got my first name from a character from the show)... it's not a bad association. I personally really like the name "Lucas".

Dmitri reminds me of "So you think you can dance"... and believe me, that's not a bad association at all! That aside, I've known a few girls by this name and I'd never thought of it as a masculine name until I watched the show, now I really like it!

I agree that "Lucas Dmitri" would be a very nice combo.
