WDYT?

One of my friends named her boy Mathias in July, another friend named her daughter Linnea in March, and yet another friend named her baby Frida in August, big sister is Maya (born in 2009). A fourth friend named her son Fredrik. So far my friends are following the trend haha. I'm super happy my top boy and girl name aren't in the top 40.

Ohhhhh, I'm happy to see Lanea/Linnea there, actually! I just love that name. I've never seen Tuva before, but now that I've heard it, I really enjoy it. Mostly because in Latvian (my family is Latvian) it kind of means 'close' as in, to be near someone. I find that really sweet!

Overall, I have to say that Norway has WAY better taste in names than the USA. My daughter is Norah, and I was sort of shocked to see it at #2...people here in the states give me weird looks when I tell them her name, like I made it up or something. Strange how different naming cultures can be.
