[identity profile] hermione-vader.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
A few months ago, we played The Name Combo Game, and I was just wondering if anyone wanted to try it again.  A lot of you probably know how it works, but for anyone who came in after Spotlight week:

You list a set of first names and a set of middle names, and other commenters pair them together, like this:

Firsts:
Ryan
August
Jake
Ellis
Noah

Middle:
Stephen
Lucas
Henry
Brady
Victor

Someone might suggest Ryan Henry, Ellis Brady, August Victor, etc., and say "I prefer Jacob to Jake, what do you think of the spelling Lukas?", etc.

Have fun!

Funny, Henry Sterling was like our #1. I'm worried Henry is becoming too popular. Hrumph. Clara Josephine is gorgeous... wish my husband like Josephine. Luella Catherine is great, too!

Emil is a recent one that's been growing on me!!! Theodore Wesley is definitely a contender... only if Theodore grows on my husband. His name is Wesley, and I love it, so I thought it would make a great middle name.

Eleanor Geneva/Neva is my front runner at the moment. I want to use Geneva/Neva because my grandmother's name was Neva and my middle name is Neva. It's hard finding a name that sounds good with it!!!

I really like Julian Edward too!

Eleanor Julietta is lovely. Julietta is a family name so that makes it more special to me.

Clara Frances would be nice too.

Theodore Egan is awesome. Everett Thomas as well!

I really like Alistair Edward and Theodore Wesley!

Hazel Catherine is very pretty too. Hazel is a hard one that doesn't sound good with many names.
