me and my fiance have been tossing around baby names for a while now.
my favorite boy name is Lucas, but he doesnt like it..he never said i couldn't use Lucas on a 2nd son ;-)  
out of his choices, i really only like Christopher tbh.
he wants to keep Robert going (he was named after his papaw and i understand the sentimental value there), and while i'm not too fond of the name in general, i agreed it was ok since he is so adamant about it lol.
my daddy recently passed and we have thought Robert Wilton would be a nice name for our first born son (my daddy's middle name was Wilton)

as for a girl, we have the name picked out and we both love it bunches! (so i'm hoping for a girl as our 1st born tbh lol)

Katelyn is for my name (Katherine) and my mamaw (i was named after her Amanda Katherine) and it means "pure" like my name.
and Elisabeth is from his mamaw who's name was Betty, bc Betty can be a nn for Elisabeth.
the other choice we have is Jessy Harlee (he loves this name) and tbh i kinda like it too :) maybe if we had a 2nd girl we'd use it idk. 

we both also like Wesley, Connor, Dean, Marcus, and Cole (he said it was ok anyway) for middle names..we even considered 3 names at one point like: Robert _____ Wilton H_______.

jokingly i said i liked the name Free Bird for a girl and idk imma admit it, i think it's kinda cute :) but i'd never name my child that lol.

Er, Katelyn sounds kind of '90s-ish to me. I really like Robert, Lucas, Christopher, Dean, and Cole, though.

Three names might be a bit too much---he'll have a lot to put on forms for the rest of his life.

I am having the same problem with Robert... It's a family name going back on my mom's mom's side since... 1700something, but I don't love it (I like it enough but it's not my type). My cousin didn't use it on her little boy, so it's kind of up to me now (I'm a sucker for tradition) plus I have a friend named Robert and I don't want everyone to think I named my child Robert.

Katy Perry's real name is Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson if that has any bearing on your decision.

Out of all the names you mentioned, I would personally go with Harlee Kate or Harlee Elisabeth and Robert Wilton (although I love the name Connor)

i really like Katy Perry and i like Katheryn a lot tbh. my name is spelt Katherine, but i always wanted to change it to the Katheryn way. i'll keep that in mind, bc then it'd be a different spelling and not so odd..idk i always think it's odd when women give their daughter their name, like a man gives his son his name is more normal to me i guess. but since we've decided to call a girl Katy Beth anyway, i don't reckon that matters much lol.

i like Harlee Kate too. it's really cute. so i may run that suggestion by him as well.

i'm pretty sure we'll go with Robert Wilton, it's the only name we both agreed on and we think it's a nice way to honor my daddy :) it was funny he said he liked Jonathan William (which is very nice imo mostly bc i like the nn Johnny) but i have 2 nephews (brothers no less) named Jonathan and William (and he said this b4 he met them lol)

Connor is a very good name, but i fear that it's becoming "popular" :/
