A little boy in a preschool sports class:
Jean-O
Pronounced like the name Gino. I'm thinking maybe the parents didn't know how to spell the name? So they made it up? I'd think that Gino would be unique enough (in our area) without having to make up a totally weird spelling.

Date: 2012-01-13 05:00 am (UTC)I realize that sounds weird but where I'm from Gino/Gina is what the "Guidos/Guidettes" (for lack of better terms, but you probably get what I mean) are called so I never really thought about it. I always thought of it as more of a "type" than a name.
Jean-O is terrible. Just terrible.
