Middle name for a LADY!
Jan. 10th, 2012 10:03 amHowdy all!
So I had posted awhile ago wanting boy names. Well just found out we don't need them anymore! We are finally having a girl (and after my seven year old niece said THIS the other day i'm a bit freaked out, "Look Andi, I can do the splits in SKINNY JEANS!" yeah, she's seven.) Anyway I now need some help with a middle name. Her first name will be Matilda. She will be joining Oscar Owen (my maiden name) and Harvey Oliver. Last name is one syllable and starts with a big fat B.
I personally am in love with the middle name Eloise. If I had that name when I was a little girl I would have been ecstatic. I mean come on, TWO kick ass little girl book character names? AWESOME! my husband does KIND of like it but wants more options. and i vetoed his pick, Lulu, with no questions asked. in a second. and then i felt a little bad for it. but now i don't. anyway. so if anyone has any other middle name options i could give him i would be forever grateful. I'm a bit tired of the whole picking out a name game. it's too much pressure.
so Matilda _____ B. and not Cecile please. or Lucille. or anything of the like. I really don't want to name her after my MIL. she'd gloat about it for the rest of the poor dear's life. Thanks all.
--Oops, sorry, and an edit for one more clarification. No Mae's please. I think i've seen about four of my facebook friends have babies in the last year and give them that middle name. and growing up with the middle name of Dawn, i really don't want to do that to her. Ah the infamous Dawn/Don. (nightmares of Designing Women growing up. Plumber named Don on there with a MASSIVE butt crack. my brothers NEVER let me live that down.)
