Introducing...

Wren Melissa B.

Our little girl was born on 30th December and we decided that the name we'd pre-chosen was perfect for her (we'd not told anyone beforehand, in case we changed our minds). No real story behind the name - we thought that Wren was pretty, and I've always liked the name Melissa but wanted something a little more unusual as a first name. One of her nicknames is already Honeybee, which is what Melissa means.

Cutie! How did your family react to you keeping the name secret and the name itself? We've had our next girl's name picked out forever and don't want to share it until our next girl is born (well, or our boy's name, but we don't have that picked out yet). I think we'll get around people getting pissy by just telling them we don't have a name yet, but our name is a little unusual so I'm curious as to how they'll react with no time to get used to it. We'll probably have some second choices picked out in case it doesn't 'fit'.
