Bailey, for a boy? I'm sure it's a unisex name, but jeeze, it sounds bad. And Ruby Rae? Nigel..pfft. Most of those are pretty common.

I think it's trendy now for girl's but in my mind it's a boy name only. *shrug*

Apart from Nigel for a girl, I can't really see how these names are significant? Nigel is really horrible though and whilst i love Ruby, Ruby Rae is a little too much...

If you found a reason to comment on the post, then the list was good for something. Sheesh. The names don't have to be "significant." It's interesting to see what kids are really named--daycares are a better indication than a social security excel sheet, IMO.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound nasty. I do agree that daycare places are good indications of current names.
And does IMO = in my opinion???

By the way, i love the kitties in your icon :)

Nigel is bad enough for a boy. People use the term nigel here sometimes to refer to a loner - "Nigel no friends!"
It's unbelievable on a girl. I've heard of Nigella, which would be somewhat better I suppose.

Josiah - I like it!
Dylan - Ok, not horrible, not my first choice
Matthew - Love this name
Christopher - Love this name
Nicolas - Love this name
Griffin - Could take it or leave, right up there with Dylan
Edward (Eddie) - It's a family name for me, so I don't dislike it, but I'd never use it.
Bailey - Sounds like something I'd name a dog.

Girls:
Isabelle (issy) - So pretty and classic, can't go wrong.
Ruby Rae - Sounds like ruby red.. like a grapefruit. Yuck.
Helena - Love it
Nigel- This is an awful name for a girl. bad enough for a boy.. but for a girl.. just say no no no no!
