Marie Rose
Marie Anne
Marie Theresa
Jesus Joseph

I wish I were kidding.

(Edited to add: They don't go by middle names, and looked at my like I was crazy when I called them by their middle names. I've only met the girls, but they call the brother Jesus when they talk about him.)

That's actually extremely common in some countries. The children typically go by middle names. About 90% of my mom's family had Maria or Jesus either as a first or a middle name.

I was going to echo renishas... I have a hunch that they all go by their middle names. It sounds like names from the old royal families. I'm thinking of Marie Antoinette, whose sisters all had the first name Maria. (And there were actually some repeats, but that's because the first bearers died young.) So, if I ignore the first names, it's a pretty nice sibset. Kinda bland, but better bland than ridic. :p

Maybe they go by Marie Rose and Marie Anne?

Is anyone else reminded of Friends, with Joey's seven sisters including Mary Therese, Mary Angela, and a bunch of other Marys? :)

I'm curious why they left Marie Theresa for last. But I think trying to find logic in this entire scenario would probably prove to be pointless :)

I'm thinking of that Dr. Seuss poem, "Too Many Daves," from his book The Sneetches:

"Did I ever tell you Mrs. McCave
who had twenty-three sons
and she named them all Dave?"

Is Jesus pronounced the English way or the Spanish way? I can honestly see it going either way with this set.
