Middle Names

What do you guys think of multiple middle names? I prefer just one middle name. But I have seen lately that parents are giving their kids more than one middle name. I'm not too sure how I feel about this. I have a friend from who I went to school with that gave her daughter legit 4 middle names, I believe it was for all 4 grandmothers in the family.I can see the point maybe? I just don't understand it. I feel like it could be confusing for the kid possibly?

Interesting! So on forms or documents that ask for middle name or middle initial, do you just use your first-middle?

Ah! Now that you mention it, on very rare occasions there are documents that ask for middle names instead of just name and last name.

It depends. I only give my full name when the documents specifically ask for ALL given middle names AND require me to show my passport. But I think the only time that happens is whenever I have to renew my passport, so maybe once or twice every 7-10 years? I can live with that :)
