I found some names in my local newspaper that made my jaw drop. I thought I would share and see what everyone thinks.

Sibset #1:
Ziciah Linnea (female, age 3 years)
Cinjin (male, age 3 months)

Sibset #2:
Kolby (male)
Kubota (male)

Alright, so Kolby I've heard of before, but the rest of the names, WTF?

Cinjin is a way cool name. The others, not so much. :)

I really like it. I've never associated it with St. John, so this is a surprise to me. It makes me think of Cinjun Tate who was once married to Alyssa Milano.

What can I say? I like unusual names. :)

I really like Linnea, actually do know someone named that. It's a kind of flower (native to Scandinavia I believe), pronounced lin-ay-uh.
Not keen on Kolby, just Kole/Cole is nice though.

Cinjin is the phonetic spelling of St. John. IMO it's an idiotic first name no matter how you spell it.

I've seen the name Sinjin before (I think it's in the Sims 2). I don't like any of the names.

I like Ziciah.

Yeah, Linnea is the only one I am like, "well, alright then," with it... but the rest, not so much.

Ziciah Linnea sounds like some Latin science term. And for some reason I actually kind of like Cinjin!

Cinjin sounds like Sin Gin. Two things I don't like.

I don't think I could ever name a kid anything that reminded me of Sin! (or Gin, but definately not sin!)

I've seen Colby spelled like that, but never with a K and none of the other names before.

Then again, when working at a collection agency years ago, we came across a hospital bill where someone named her twin sons Lemonjello and Oranjello. Unbelievable. Lemon jello and orange jello. We were cracking up over that for days.

there was another good one there, but I can't remember, its been so long since I worked there. Those two are just forever stuck in my head.

I like Linnea. The rest are really bad.

Cinjin reminds me of Four Weddings and a Funeral where Rowan Atkinson keeps messing up the wedding he's performing and calling everyone by the wrong name. Cinjin was one of the names.

a characters name in a book I'm reading is Linnea, how is that pronounced?

I've always thought it was pronounced LIN-ee-ah.

sageharper says it's lin-ay-uh though and she knows someone by that name so shes's probably right.

Cinjin is normally spelled St John, but i'd stay away from it anyway.

Linnea is a very nice name.

Kubota is a brand name for farm machinary... hehe.

And here I thought the name St. John died in the nineteenth century...

I know a girl named Ziqyia which I suppose is kind of similar to Ziciah!

My guess is, creative version of "Zakia" ? Also sometimes "Zakiyah" I think. Which is a name, I believe with some sort of North African/Arab roots. I make that guess because we've used it as a name at the French camp I worked it, and as it's definitely not French it would probably be North African.

Zakia I like. Ziciah is stupid.
