Fave names

While I don't have children yet I know if I have a girl her name will be Ava Julia and my son will be Julian Lorenzo. Ava is for a beautiful little girl lost at three years old, look her up on the Internet Ava Rosemeyer, Julia is my grandmother's name and Lorenzo is my grandfather's last name. A couple of other names that I like are for girls: Gia, Elena, Grace, Abigail, Alexandra, Savannah and Cassandra; for boys: Lucas, Travis, Jacob, Mason, Luca, James, Spencer, Noah and Jonah.

I have a friend who named her daughter after Ava Rosemeyer too. But then, I live in the same town as Sheye so we have mutual friends and that's probably why.

Sheye's little Ava died just a few years after my 10 year old cousin suddenly died and her words about grief hit so close to home that I feel as if I knew her and Ava. I had always loved the name but, "meeting" Ava through her moms' words and pictures made me love it more.

Gia is one of my absolute faves, Luca too, but for a girl.
