Hey everyone! I'm new here and I truly believe some weird fate/destiny thing has gone on to get me here. Just last night I wrote another boy's name down in my little book and just today I told my friend about the new name. I'm actually only 17, but I've had this obsession with having this tiny little book of baby names that I've liked - a log of baby names as I've grown up if you will. I don't plan on having a baby soon but when (and if) I do and they're old enough or (hopefully if I'm still alive) when they have one of their own I'll pass this down. 

Girls:
Amelia

Boys:
Oliver (never Ollie or Olly, just Oliver)
August-James (either a double-barrel name or first and middle name - AJ for short)
Nikolai (pronounced Nick-o-lie, also has the nickname Kolya which I'm rather fond of, Russian origin)
Raynor (pronounced Ray-ner, Old-German origin)
Everett 
Max

Uggggh, Kaya, I love that name. Actually, I love the Slavic spelling of Kaija, but same difference. I've always said that if I could change my name (although mine is Larisa, so I wouldn't) it would be to Kaija. Tried to convince my husband into that name, but he hates it haha. OH WELL.

I love that name, I think if I don't name a child with that, it will definitely be high in the run for a middle name! Also your name is beautiful!

I love Kaya and Olive. Aubrey is pretty nice but really trendy at the moment...I prefer Audrey by far! :)

I also like Manning, but on a boy. August and Oliver are both cool too. Why not go with Rainier or Rainer?

Aubrey is really popular at the moment, hopefully it will go down when I (hopefully) actually have a child :) I know it sounds strange because it's different by one letter but Audrey just doesn't do it for me. I'm so strange.

I think part of me likes Manning on a girl because most prefer it on a boy but I know someone with the name and it just suits her so well. I'm really surprisingly picky about the spelling of Raynor, I simply love the way it looks when written and I really wanted to stray away from using the word 'rain' in it and I also don't like the way of spelling such as RayNER, I dislike the 'e' in it just like I do with the 'i'. It was the first way I've ever seen it being spelt and I've just got an attachment to it - like a baby to their mother.

I treat the names like children themselves... :)

Viola - Okay this might ruin the name for you but 'viola' in Spanish is 'he/she rapes' as in... violation, rape etc.

Max - Max, is kind of bland especially in light of all the other names why not Maxwell? Maddox? I knew a french kid name Maxim...we worked together.

August is my absolute favorite boy name at the moment. If I had a son his name would be August Manning. Manning for a dear friend. I find it kind of funny that you have both of those names on that list. I've been a member of this community for many years and have never come across another person who had Manning on their list. Also, you have a name similar to my favorite girl name, Violet. I do like Kaya, but spelled Kaia. My mom loves the name Amelia and really wanted to use it if my brother had been a girl (my dad wouldn't budge on it though).
