Hey, I'm Hollie.  I've always been a fan of baby names and back when I was in school my two best friends and I would always talk about what we wanted to name our future children.  At the moment I am neither pregnant or have a partner, so these are just a list of my favourite names.  Some of them reflect on my background as my mothers side of the family is of Irish origin.

Malakai... Looks like it should be said as Malak-aye,but since you said you're part Irish I'm guessing it's like Malachy?

I really like Aisling Olivia, Emilie Jade Therese, Katherine, Madeleine, Alexander, William, and Lucas.

Layal is interesting. It reminds me of Luella.

My name is Emilie Therese.:) Although Therese if for both my grandmother and my godmother, I hate it. It's an old woman's name in French Canada. I could see how it sounds completely different in English though. On one of my official ID, they made a mistake and put Theresa instead and I much prefer that. I do like Emilie though...

I like Therese, it's my mothers middle name. My mum helped me pick the name Emilie Jade out before she passed away and I thought adding the Therese in there would be nice and a tribute to her :)

I'm curious, do you pronounce Therese in French or English? I've never heard it in English but if I'm pronouncing it correctly, it definitely sounds prettier and probably doesn't have a negative connotation. I got tease a lot growing up with that middle name so I don't care for it but I can appreciate that I was named after two loved ones, one of which has passed away. I think that would definitely be a nice tribute to your mum.
