a new set of names from a new member

A friend pointed me to this place a few days ago, I've been checking out a few posts since then but haven't yet had the guts to post, so here it comes... I have a large family, 10 kids with somewhat obsure names to most of them and a somewhat obsure switching habit to perfectly normal and perhaps a little oldfashion naming. My husband has often occused me of prefering to name my children from tv shows, but thankfully so far hasn't been able to prove it - thank god he doesn't watch all the same shows as me :)

Anyway, I saw an article yesterday can't remember where it was, I think the same friend who pointed me to this comm pointed me to the article, but the couple were expecting their 20th child... I stared at the picture of this couple and wondered just how she managed to stay so slim, because I've totally failed. Anyway, their names were normal and mine far from and I don't even know why it came to mind, but here is a list of my beauties names for you to whisper about behind my hubbys back :) (he doesnt use LJ so you're perfectly safe)

Twins girls: Teryl Narumi & Nalla Isoka
A boy: Elijah Demeter
Twin girls: Sikozu Kyda & Janet Odella
Mixed twins: Loki Kvasir & Larka Emily
A girl: Ariana Eliza
Mixed twins: Olivia Mathilda & Jackson Alexander

you're scaring me. They run in my family, too (my great grandma had two sets, and some cousins have had them) and I'm pregnant with my (first?) set. We want one or two more after this but I'm so afraid of having twins again.

There are only boys in my family that aren't twins, and my husband has random twins in each generation so for us it was more of a chance that every time we got pregnant there would be twins :)

Twins girls: Teryl Narumi & Nalla Isoka - I don't like Teryl but Narumi is sweet and I looove the combo of Nalla Isoka.
A boy: Elijah Demeter - Weird you gave your son the name of a very very very very female goddess but Elijah is suuuper adorable.
Twin girls: Sikozu Kyda & Janet Odella - Not keen on Sikozu, Kyda is alright and Janet is a name I loathe! Odella is sweet.
Mixed twins: Loki Kvasir & Larka Emily - ADORE Loki, Larka and Emily (I think your daugters name is one of the prettiest name combos EVER) and not excited over Kvasir but I don't hate it.
A girl: Ariana Eliza - Cute and oddly normal.
Mixed twins: Olivia Mathilda & Jackson Alexander - Love both combos (but not as much as Larka Emily)

Just wondering: Why Loki for one half of the third set of twins? I only ask he's a pretty charged mythological figure (but most tricksters are), and he's a major comic book villain. He may have an interesting reaction when he's old enough to see Thor...

When I was pregnant with Loki and Larka I was ill, which was mostly larka's doing, so I had a lot of ultrasounds, whenever I did, loki would hide, or be in some strange position so we figured he'd be the playful one (which he is) so we named him appropriately.
