WDYT?

How does Erika Willow Brown sound to you all?

I don't like willow, at all, not just in that combination...but its not horrid (the closest to "i like it" as you're gonna get with willow from me!) :)

I do like Erika Brown though.

I think it flows well. Erika isn't my favorite name, but there's nothing wrong with it really.

Willow is a beautiful name. It brings to mind immediately Buffy the Vampire Slayer which I didn't even watch very much. This probably isn't a big deal though as its the middle name.

I like it a lot! Sounds pretty!

I don't really like the name Erika but I do love willow. In this combo I think the names together sound great :)

I think using a plant name along with the last name Brown makes it sound like the poor willow is dead :-(

I also tend to prefer whatever the most common spelling is of a name, so the poor child isn't constantly correcting the spelling. So, I'd go for Erica over Erika.

I have actually seen/know more Erikas than Ericas, not always the case but it is pretty 50% 50% from what i've been told. Just don't go with Ericka!

I like it.
Now I'm partial to Willow more than Erika so if it were me I'd do 'Willow Erika Brown'. However, your way is really nice as well.

I actually love it :)

I don't like "Erika", but I love "Willow"

Not a fan of Erika in general, I don't hate it, but I don't love it. Willow is GORGEOUS.

I like it-alot!

Erika Willow Brown, and Erika Brown both sound fine to me.

[identity profile] sayga.livejournal.com 2006-08-09 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
my only problem is the middle name with the last. willow brown sounds like a dead tree. willows are supposed to be green! :P but since you'll rarely call her the entire name, it's probably just fine.

if it were MY last name, i would avoid naturey names for FN or MNs, or any name that brings a color image to mind. But Im also incredibly anal about that kind of thing, so it may just be me. :P

To me it sounds great, I like both Erika and Willow and think they sound lovely together.

It doesn't flow well. Willow is one of my favorite names- it's very soft and feminine. Erika, in my opinion, isn't. It's more harsh. It's not that I don't like Erika- it just doesn't go well with Willow.

[identity profile] coconutchica.livejournal.com 2006-08-10 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I really like Erika spelled that way. I was never a fan of Willow (that 80s movie kind of freaked me out) but it does have the fabulous nn possibility of Lola, which I'm liking more and more each day.

I like the combination, I dont think that people will automatically think of a dead tree, i always think of the girl from Buffy
