Date: 2011-11-09 04:34 am (UTC)And I see your point about Tash, kind of looks/sounds like "trash". Do you like "Tait"? I kind of like how clear and simple it is, like Tash but without the connotations.

Date: 2011-11-09 07:17 am (UTC)Second: Bit...I don't know how to explain. Best I can come up with is that it sounds like a brand more than a person.
Third: Awesome
Fourth: Not sure about Auden but I like an A name wiht Pierre following.
First: What is the first name? It seems a bit abrupt to have something follow it from what I can guess at.
Second: Salome sounds like a greeting but I could see the combo.
Third: Yes to first, no to last. Chantel makes me think of a purse.
Fourth: Tash sounds more like a boy to me but I could see it in a tomboy or punkish girl.
In the end, it's up to you...and your (future?) partner. Godspeed.

I've heard of Maden before.

Date: 2011-11-09 07:35 am (UTC)As for the girl names, I like Alexandria, Charlotte, Olivia and Corinne. I'm not a fan of any of those combinations though :(

Date: 2011-11-09 07:50 am (UTC)2. Haha, maybe you're thinking of Mattel?
3. Probably my favourite of the boy names, followed by #1
4. Hmm interesing
1. Pronounced like "Prin"... like Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter. I like it with Alexandria because Alexandria has so many syllables and Prynne just has one
2. Like Shalom? Haha, yeah, they're pretty similar.
3. Chanel xD I like the way they sound together, but I probably wouldn't have Chantel as a first name
4. Yeah, I picture a rascal-y girl with Tash

Date: 2011-11-09 07:52 am (UTC)Huh, so you like more commonly used names for girls? I wouldn't give a kid super strange names, but I like to mix common with uncommon.

Date: 2011-11-09 07:56 am (UTC)I've never heard of the Tash one (probably because I never finished reading the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia), but I don't feel like enough kids would get the reference for it to cause teasing. It's admittedly rather out-there, though.
Never read the bible, never will.

Date: 2011-11-09 07:59 am (UTC)James is one of my favourite names, and I recently discovered the name Etienne in the book Anna and the French Kiss - have you read it as well?
I think I prefer longer names for girls because my own is fairly short and boring, and you can't really make any nicknames for it. (My name is Sarah BTW)

Date: 2011-11-09 03:11 pm (UTC)James Etienne
I like this one. I agree as previously stated that the middle name is a bit feminine. You may want to see how you like it with just taking the end NE off. It still will have a french sound but a more masculine appearance.
Maden Darnel
I like Maden but don't particularly like Darnel. As previously stated. I think Maden would sound good with a name like your listed Pierre. Sticking with the french theme you like you may like Christophe, Patrice, Laurent, or Benoit instead.
Jack Wilder
I like this but in combination with the other names both names seem a bit tame. Ironic with the name Wilder, I know. Perhaps spicing up the name Jack with something else. Perhaps the french Jean with is (I believe) close to the french h version of Jack/John.
Auden Pierre
I like this. Nothing to say really.
Girls:
Prynne Alexandria
I like this. But I don't think you need to add the 'ia' sound. Just 'a' would still sound fine. Also for Prynne spellings could be: Pryne, Prynn. I can't see a way of replacing the i without it looking weird though.
Charlotte Salome
I like this.
Olivia Chantel
I like this too.
Tash Corinne
Tash is simple in light of the other names. Lets say you had 3 girls and had a fourth on the way. Tash would seem very airy in comparison. Like someone said before it is related to Natasha/Natalie/Noel which has many forms. I think names like Tashina, Natalya (Talya), Nawal (pronounced Noel. Might serve your purposes with this name without making the name resemble the word "Trash" as you've previously stated.

Date: 2011-11-09 06:39 pm (UTC)1. Alright. A kid could live with that name.
2. Maybe.
1. Then I like it the other way around
3. Yeah a first name of Chanel would be a bit odd.
4.See? Then it would work. So long as she doesn't become an outright lady, she will be able to pull it off.

Date: 2011-11-09 07:33 pm (UTC)For the girls I think Charlotte Salome is absolutely gorgeous! I like Prynne Alexandria as well, it's unusual but still feminine and pretty. And I'm assuming that it's a literary reference to "The Scarlet Letter" which also makes me like it more!

Date: 2011-11-09 11:48 pm (UTC)That makes sense, and I totally understand about the lack of nicknames... there are literally no nicknames for my name either :/

Date: 2011-11-10 04:35 am (UTC)Ooh, I like the sound of Laurent, thanks for that one.
I've always liked Jack, but it's true... the middle name is the exciting part of that combo, and Jack is very... commonplace. I don't particularly like Jean though.
I prefer the "ia" because I like it with the extra syllable, and I feel like just Alexandra mutes the name, in a way.
I like Natalya spelled that way, thanks for the suggestion. It sounds good with Corinne, and Tash could then be a nickname.
