Another Newbie

Hello

I'm another newbie here from the community being in the spot light.

I don't have any children myself, but I do have my possible baby names picked out, and thought I would share them and my families names

Paternal grandparents - Molly & Benjamin (step grandfather)
Maternal grandparents - Rachel & John (also known as Jack)

Parents - Amanda Lorraine
                  Martin

Me - Kirsty Elspeth
My sister - Mairead Oighrig (this is a gaelic name, although I'm not sure if it is scottish or irish gaelic. My dad was in the RAF at the time and was posted somewhere while my mum was pregnant. He picked up a name book and her name was chosen)

If one of us had been male (my mum can't remember which one) our name would have been Cuthbert William!!


Extended family - Fiona Lesley - Maternal Aunt
Hazel & Jon - Paternal Aunt and partner & their children - Scot, Jacob & Stewart
Mary & Colin - Paternal Aunt and husband & their children - Liza (deceased and I'm unsure of the spelling) and Joanne
Anne & William - Paternal Aunt and husband & their children - Rebecca Anne & Rachel


My partner is Andrew Michael, his mother is Ann, and his father is Adam Micheal, but goes by Micky or Michael

And my children will be Callandra for a girl and Carson for a boy. Callandra after Callandra Tyrol from Battlestar Gallactica, and Carson after Dr Carson Becket from Stargate Atlantis!! Yes, I am a nerd!

I love your sister's first name and your middle name! Do you know how Oighrig is pronounced? I've never seen it before. I'd guess something like Oh-ree, or oh-gree or something. It's interesting.

I like Carson too.

It is pronounced Oi-rig. Its a strange one to say the least!

My partner and I have to come up with good middle names for our future babies, his surname starts with a D so at the moment, their initials are CD -/

I hated it for years, because it was often mixed up with Elizabeth, but I like it now!
