I just wanted to know what y'all think of the name Daisy Mae. It's presently my first choice for a girl's name. A few of my friends have expressed disdain.

I love the name Daisy but I agree with the other posters that that combo is particularly southern (in a bad way) and I would feel bad about an adult with that name.

to further clarify, i think it's southern in that way that will be made fun of, not the way you (meaning anyone) would be proud of (necessarily)

thanks! This is probably my single favorite icon, good for coming at all them Northerners.

It's hard for me to figure out what will get made fun of. I'm planning to home school and live on a boat in the most laid-back place ever, so I really wondered what the social ramifications would be.

if that's the case, quite possibly there could be no social ramifications until she's older (living on her own) and then she could always just go by Daisy if she wanted
