I just wanted to know what y'all think of the name Daisy Mae. It's presently my first choice for a girl's name. A few of my friends have expressed disdain.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but Daisy Mae is the name of Lil Abner's love interest in the comic strip-turned-musical "Lil Abner." Read More Here (http://www.lil-abner.com/daisymae.html)!

Oh, and here are some lyrics from the musical... I was in this show in 6th grade and my sister played Daisy Mae, that's how I know all this. LOL
