ABC naming irks me.

Rachael wouldn't bother me because it's the same end sound as Michael, but Rachael is rough, I agree.

Miah, Kelby and Mollye are all terrible IMO. Miah is the least bad I suppose b/c it's just a respelling of Maya (I think...), but theo the other two are just too weird for me.

My ex-husband's ex-girlfriend (!) is named "Racheal." They meant to name her "Rachael," but her dad misspelled it when he reported the chosen name on the birth certificate papers.

I can't understand this. When I choose my child's name, I'm going to know it inside and out, down to every namessake and association possible. It's so careless to spell it wrong.

As an afterthought though, my husband might not be so detail-oriented.

Miah is ok, but i would think of it as a boy's name, like a nickname for Jeremiah, or on offshoot of Micah. If it's for a girl, it should definitely be Maya. Kelby sounds awfully made up... Shelby with a K? That sounds like a boys name too!
I love the name Lia spelt like that. I don't think I'd EVER use it, but it's one of those names i just love secretly. :P

Racheal is probably a typo. For some reason that name and Michael are really easy to typo.


I think they're all pretty standard cheer image names to me, lol.


I like Miah. Kelby is all right and Mollye is excessive to me.
