How popular would you say the name James is? LIke....how many people do you know named James? Also...do they go by James, or do they have nn's, such as Jim, Jimmy, Jamie? etc.


Also....does anyone have the link for the social security baby names website? That exists right? Where you can type in a name, and see its standing for certain years, etc?

i know a lot of men named james - three in my family alone, two little girls with that as their middle name after their fathers, and i work with a james. all the men i know go by jim.

i adore the nickname jamie, but dont know anyone named james who uses jamie as their nickname.

i think its a common name, but its a classic, not uber trendy one, so its okay, imo.
