How popular would you say the name James is? LIke....how many people do you know named James? Also...do they go by James, or do they have nn's, such as Jim, Jimmy, Jamie? etc.


Also....does anyone have the link for the social security baby names website? That exists right? Where you can type in a name, and see its standing for certain years, etc?

I have an uncle with the name James, and there were two people in my class I can think of right off the bat with the name. I'd say it's very common, as I hear it all the time in various places. Good classic name though.
