Which makes a better sib set?

Sophie and Caleb,

Sophie and Eric,

or

Sophie and Thaddeus?




Sophie (Sophie Renee) is my best friend's little girl's name. Caleb is what she would've been named had she been a boy, Eric is the current forerunner for #2, and Thaddeus is what my friend's grandmother is dead set on my friend naming her child. Apparently her husband's mother hates the name Caleb (even though her husband came up with it). I have nothing against Eric, but find it kinda blah.

I think Caleb sounds best. I really think Thaddeus is then kind of name you shouldn't use unless you really do want to.

I only assumed it was; the name shows up a lot in my French textbooks. I'd no hard evidence until I looked Eric up on behindthename.com. :p

Sophie & Caleb or Sophie & Eric. Either name would be cute. I don't like Thaddeus with Sophie (or really at all...).

I agree that if the parents don't like Thaddeus, they definitely shouldn't use it. It doesn't seem like the rest of they style at all, and I think they'd regret it or end up calling him by his middle name.

I like Sophie and Caleb together best - I really like the name Caleb. Eric is "eh" and I wouldn't saddle a kid with the name Thaddeus.
