They call her Avi (pronounce A-V)which isn't as bad. What other names could Avi be a nickname for?

It doesn't sound SO bad...but I don't like it, either.

Both Avi'ella and Arabella are way too frilly for my taste, but I'd take Arabella over Avi'ella any day.

I suppose Avi could also be a diminutive nickname for Ava or something similar, like Avalyn/Aveline. Also, didn't Amy Adams name her daughter Aviana? Tt would work for that, as well.

We named our second daughter Aven and our first started calling her Avie on her own. It's seriously cute when one sibling gives the other a nickname. :)
