just so you know where these came from (but still feel free to comment)
Carlie - my name (which I never liked as a child but am finally growing into, even though I am frequently called "Charlie" - which is my dad's name, i'm named for him)
Marjorie - my middle name (and my mom's and grandma's, but i'm not interested in continuing it. I def. prefer it as a first name, nn Meg)
Lealoni - I knew a girl who spelled her name like this. Leilani is prettier, I agree
Jaliz - I had a student with this name, prn Juh-leese even though it was Hispanic
Martina - a name I just kinda like
Jennda - I had a dream that my ex-fiance had a daughter with this name and it was just bizarre!

that is just so funny bc I've always disliked Marjorie, my middle name, bc it was so not common, the only person with that name that I ever heard of was the author of the Nate the Great books (the kid detective that loved pancakes)

Martina is ok (I have a good friend called Martine).
I don't like Carlie or Marjorie at all, but they aren't horrible.

But Lealoni, Jaliz and Jennda (like gender?)??? They do not even seem like names to me...

Jennda was a name I only heard in a dream - I was thinking it was related to "agenda" like I have an agenda to have kids, since it was my ex's kid in the dream and I was crushed that I didn't have a child of my own

I like the name Carlie, and also Martina. Not so crazy about the others.

Carlie-Fine.Not my favourite. I also knew a bitch with the name, but yeah its not terrible.
Marjorie- I had a drug addicted, alcholic neighbour with the name. Very nice lady, but mentally I would associate the child with someone in such a sad situation so it doesn't sit well with me.
Lealoni-I love Leilani, not so much Lealoni.
Jaliz -neat, nice sounding. I am not a huge fan of z names though.
Martina-Its okay.
Jennda- Not a fan.

I'm partial to Marjorie because it is my grandmother's name. (Well it's her middle name, but she goes by it because she had the same first name as her mother)

Carlie and Martina are quite nice, but not really my style, and the others are very unfamiliar to me, but don't give me that nice "ooh what an interesting name" feeling, but more like - ugh what is that?

& when I saw Lealoni, it reminded me of the children's author Leo Lionni. :)
