Alexander Christopher

I like both names separately and have gone back and forth on the two together. I worry that it's "Holy long name Batman!" though not removing it from my list (boy names are rare for me to have any emotion over). Then, recently it was announced that Miguel Cabrera's wife had a baby, and his name is Alexander Christopher (according to two sources. I swear a third source said Alexander Michael). So now I'm really confused. What do y'all think of the name?

Edit: When I said I was confused, I meant in the sense that I had started to lean towards not liking it, then hearing someone else use it, made me think that if I wasn't the only person to come up with it, maybe I was just over thinking things.

If you are excited about it I would use it. I don't think its overly long, but you also have to factor in the number of syllables in the last name. Chances are if Alexander is his name he'll go by a nickname so it won't matter much.

I think it's pretty nice. The -er endings make it a tad difficult to say, but overall, it's still a good strong name.

I like both names. Personally, I think they flow better in the other order though - Christopher Alexander.

I like both names but I think the length of them plus the double -er endings make the combo clunky and awkward.

I don't care for the er sound at the end of both names, but I don't think it's awful, just a bit awkward.
