Here are the lists of boy and girl names that I like. Not in any special order. However, I do have two favorites, Emily & Michael. The only thing I dislike about those two names is that they are very common.

I agree with you on Emily and Michael. They're both really great names, but SO common. =/

10. Parker - I think it's absolutely awful for a girl
11. Sophia - very pretty but but very popular
12. Charlotte - one of my very favorites!

I like Camilla, Charlotte and Oliver. The rest are NMS (Savannah, Sophia, Eleanor, Michael), but some are really bad (Sailor, Parker, Delaney). I love Serena, Sarena not so much.

I LOVE Emily and Michael. Those are two of my favorites, too. I also really like Eleanor and Sophia for girls and Henry, Liam (it's on my top 3 list!), and Jackson.

There are way way way way WAY way too many Michaels in existence. Please don't add to this.

I like the spelling Sebastian better myself but it's a great name. Desi makes me think of I Love Lucy. Micah is great IMO and maybe a good alternative to using Michael?

Savannah and Avery are wonderful from your girls list. I prefer Parker on a boy.

I love the names Alaina, Liam, and Sebastien.

I like, but would never use*, Emily, Eleanor, Sophia, Charlotte, Michael, Jack/Jackson, and Micah.

I especially dislike Sailor, Cailey, Parker, Avery (in general, but especially as girls' names), Desi, and Oliver.

* Most of the names in that list wouldn't work for me personally as names, mostly because they're already names in my generation of family.

i REALLY like samara and sophia. serena too but not spelled sarena. i also quite like emily even if it is very popular. oliver and micah are cute; sebastien, henry and liam are classic too. i really hate sailor, samaire (eh?), desi, parker, cailey & delainey.

i really really like: sailor, samara, savannah, parker, sophia and charlotte. also, desi (although i know a couple of girls named desiree who both go almost exclusively by desi, so its a little wierd for a boy, but i do like it), jack/jackson, henry, liam, oliver and micah.

all in all great lists (especially on the boys side!)

I think Desi is weird for a boy ... I love Charlotte! Love Oliver and Henry as well. Emily and Michael are fine but too common for my tastes.

1. Emily - i ADORE this name. it's one i would use despise it's popularity.
2. Sailor - hate it, why sailor? why not trucker? or farmer?

13. Delaney - meh... used to be a guilty pleasure for me, then i heard my bf's friend talking about this girl "delaney" that he knows and hearing the name over and over REALLY turned me off... i couldn't stop myself from thinking "god that girl has a shitty name"
