I was just watching the Simple Life, and I heard Paris say that she was going to name her kids 'London & China'. I hope she was kidding, but some part of me thinks she wasn't. What do you think of a family all with place names? Seems weird to me. I'm not a fan of place names at all though.

I read through a list of baby names recently and came across Sailor Lee(f). I don't know why but Sailor seems really cute to me, I like it alot.

What do you think?

It's Paris Hilton. She's not joking. She doesn't know how to make a joke.

I think it's totally tacky, and I hope to God she never procreates (for more reasons than just the names).

Sailor Lee just makes me think of Sailor Moon.

I think Paris makes witty comments to get a reaction, and I don't think she was serious. But I just hope she doesn't name her kids those names for the same reason- to get a reaction.

I know a sib set - London, Rome, Paris & Milan.

No, I am not kidding. :(

As for Sailor, doesn't really float my boat but if you like it, go for it.

I don't know about obvious place names like London and China, but the names Amelia and Jensen are in my top 5, and I just realized the other day that there is a connection with Amelia Island and Jensen Beach here in Florida. Both are really beautiful places, and I was actually considering buying property on Amelia Island recently.

Long story short, I really like the idea because both places have a significant meaning and they're not blatantly place names.

I like city names, but not country names. The southern ones are my fave...

Austin
Savannah
Memphis

London is ok, but China is awful.

I think if she does it, it'd be better to have all city names (i.e. not China)

and yeah, Sailor's cute, but I thought of Sailor Moon too and I don't think the creative spellings are as cute :/

I love Sailor. If I was going to have exclusive naming rights, I'd seriously consider it for a little girl. My FH, who hates all names even the least bit "unique", almost vomited when I suggested it.

Bummer.

Oh, and I like Sydney for a girl's name. London...eh. A strong NO to China.

I think all of them having place names is a wee bit too much. I know Paris says things to get a reaction, but I so seriously bet that she would actually do it to get a reaction too.

Remember when she wanted to name her kid Paris after her and her boyfriend/fiance at the time.
I believe her about London & China.
London isn't too bad but China reminds me of the wrestler China Doll.
Not good.

Sailor Lee.. for a girl? cause thats immediately what I thought of.

Sailor is cute. But that's ALL it is. It's ridiculous on anyone over the age of 6. I'd be mortified if my name was Sailor. I don't want to be just "cute."

Sebastian Bach (singer) has two sons named Paris and London. (actually his son Paris is called Paris Francis.

I can handle some place names. But I don't like it much on siblings.

I also think the name Sailor is cute.

I'm not a big fan of Paris Hilton, but I don't think it would be such a horrible thing if she named her kids London and China. I think the name London is really beautiful, but China reminds me of the wrestler... Ick.

I think Sailor Lee is a pretty name and the fact that Christie Brinkley named her daughter that because her and her Husband (maybe Ex husband lol) LOVE to sail, is what makes it unique and lovely. ;)

I think being named London and China will be the least of Paris Hilton's kids' concerns.

P.S. About Sailor. Sailor like... "swears like a sailor?" Like "let's put in at port and get gonorrhea, sailor?"

I find it to be among the crudest of the currently popular profession names.

London, China, and Sailor all suck.

What is the appeal of Sailor? To me it's like naming a child Farmer.
