what do you think of the name Philip Andrew?

*edit*
hehe now that I got a whole bunch of comments...
Philip Andrew is actually my brothers name..
he would have been Andrew Philip but the last name is with an "E" and my parents are smart and realized it would have spelled APE...
thank God they realized that!!

ps-- i have only met one other Philip (or Phillip)

Not to keen on Philip on it's own but the Andrew balances it out so, yeah, very handsome and a strong name.

I personally don't like the nickname Phil, but I think Philip Andrew is - like scottish_diva said - a handsome and strong name!

If it were me, I'd flip it to Andrew Philip, but that's only because I like Andy or Drew better than Phil.

Philip is my fiances name and is one of my favorite boys names. I would use it except I dont like Juniors,.. So i think were going to use Cole Philip. But I like Philip Andrew it sounds great!

apparently if the father & son have the same first name, but not the same middle name, the son is not considered a junior. i actually found that out a couple weeks ago when i asked my friend, james, if he was a "junior" since his dad's name is james also.

Yeah it reminds me of a song that we learned in a primary school religion class which listed all the disciples of Jesus, in no particular order.. but perhaps Philip and Andrew were next to each other in the song because it reminds me so much of it

those names sound really nice together. i like philip; i tend to gravitate to more "formal" sounding boy names. i hate the nickname phil though and i'm sure most philips are called that.

I prefer it spelled Phillip because that looks more balanced to me, but I think it's good overall. Maybe be careful depending on your last initial if you don't want it to spell anything.

I love the name Philip... But it has a bad connotation with me... My brother's name is Phillip Andrew.

It sounds like it could be the name of an English prince.
