ok, this has nothing to do with anything, but I'm so happy to see someone IRL w/the name Arielle. It's about our favorite name right now if this new baby is a girl and I feel like I'm not getting a true sense of it bc I hear it so rarely.

that said, that is kind of funny about the elle-ness.

thanks :) It's so weird, it's easy to talk about hypothetical kids, but when it comes down to it and all the preggo hormones are effecting my brain, all names start to sound wrong or weird. kind of like when you say a word so many times it loses all meaning. lol

yeah, i am giselle but most people call me elly. that didn't really start happening until i was about 13, before that people just called me giselle, but some people had difficulty pronouncing it so i dumbed it down a little for them. people also call me 'gis' (jizz..haha ew) and 'gizzy' sometimes though. but elly is the most common :]

Pretty names! I have a friend called Sibel that's pronounced how you would pronounce Cybelle (Sibel is a Turkish name, though, I believe) but I think I prefer the spelling Cybelle if I were going to use it. Yes. Heh, that was my pointless comment.

my sisters' and my middle names all rhyme. Aileen, Christine, and Kathleen. Then the first initials of each of my siblings, in chronological order, are H, A, T, and E.
