EWW! My Aunt spelled her daughter's name Kilee, and then tried to tell me grandma that is was Hawaiian for sea. Umm, I know KAI is hawaiian for sea.. but I don't know about KI. LOL.

I have to say, Kylie is ONE name where a y SHOULD be a vowel. It looks like Kill-ee to me.

Why do people insist on giving girls cutesy, childish, stupid, *ditzy* names that just cry out for an inane heart over the I? Do they want their daughters to BE cutesy, childish, stupid and ditzy??

Of course you can grow up to be a strong, smart woman with any first name, but somehow I think a Hailee or Britnee or whatever has a different image to live up to than someone with a solid, elegant name.

I agree. I used to like Kylie, but I was TWELVE! What are these people thinking?

My ex-boyfriend's little sisters name is spelled Kylie.
I think anyway you spell Kylie though it still doesn't look like its pronounced "ky-lee" unless you spell it like that.. Kylee.
I don't know how I feel about Hailee. I think it should either be spelt like Hailie or Hailey.

Ug, I hate Hailey/Bailey/Kayleigh names, especially when spelt with -ee at the end...
